'UnifiedAccessPoint started with a vision: to introduce true Neapolitan pizza to Edinburgh. Established by the Thompson lineage in 1985 as a quaint, family-operated eatery with age-old family recipes.
Our founder, Emily Thompson, mastered pizza crafting during her explorations across Italy, particularly from skilled pizzaiolos in Naples - the cradle of pizza. After her return to the UK, her mission was to replicate the enchanting experience of classic Italian pizza, sticking to ancestral techniques and prime ingredients.
From a humble pizzeria seating just a dozen customers, we've become a cherished local fixture. Yet, our dedication to high-caliber craftsmanship and authenticity stands firm. We persist in using traditional wood-fired oven methods, preparing our dough from scratch each day, and selecting the best ingredients available.
'UnifiedAccessPoint' stays under the ownership and guidance of the Thompson family, with a new generation at the helm of our eager crew. While we've adopted new technologies, the essence of our craft is unchanged: making delectable, legitimate pizza that unites patrons.
